Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Ledig (“Ledig”, “we”, “us”) collects about you, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It’s written to be read, not skimmed past.
Who we are
Ledig Air is a marketplace for empty-leg private flights in Europe, operated from Copenhagen, Denmark. Contact us any time at hello@ledigair.com. Ledig is the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect, and why
When you apply to join the Ledig Air network via the public waitlist, we collect:
- Your name and email. So we can reach you when the platform is live and confirm your signup.
- Your role— whether you’re an operator or a traveller. So we can tailor what we send you.
- Your operator / company name(operators only). So we know who we’re talking to when we reach out.
- Basic server logs — the timestamp of your signup, your approximate region via IP. Used for fraud prevention and kept for no longer than 30 days.
If you accept the cookie banner we also load Google Analytics 4 to see anonymous traffic numbers (how many people visit, which pages, which sources). IP addresses are anonymised. If you decline, no analytics code runs on your browser. We do not build behavioural profiles, share data with advertisers, or run tracking pixels.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (you asked to be added to the waitlist) and where applicable our legitimate interest in running a secure service (e.g. spam / fraud prevention in server logs).
Where your data lives
Waitlist contacts are stored in Resend, our transactional email provider (data stored in the EU). Emails we send to you go through the same service. Our site is hosted by Vercel. Both providers are bound by appropriate Data Processing Agreements.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist entry until you ask us to delete it, or until six months after we’ve launched and you’ve chosen not to become an active user — whichever comes first. Server logs are deleted within 30 days.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can, at any time:
- See what we have about you.
- Ask us to correctanything that’s wrong.
- Ask us to delete everything.
- Export your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — just reply to any Ledig email and say so.
- Complain to a supervisor authority, in Denmark that is Datatilsynet.
To exercise any of these, email hello@ledigair.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything meaningful, we’ll update the date at the top and email everyone on the waitlist. The current version is always at ledigair.com/privacy.
