Booking terms

These booking terms apply when you send a request on a listing at ledigair.com/explore. They are in addition to the general terms of use.

Ledig Air is a free introduction platform

Ledig Air provides a free listing and introduction service that connects travellers with EASA-licensed operators. We charge no commission, no booking fee, no platform fee, and no subscription — to travellers or to operators. Ledig Air is not a party to the contract of carriage and is not a party to any payment.

Requests and contact exchange

When you send a request, the operator receives it together with your full contact details and replies to you directly. Sending a request creates no payment obligation and costs nothing. Ledig Air never charges your card and never asks for payment details.

Operator response

Operators are notified the moment your request is sent. We ask operators to respond as quickly as practical — same day for near-term departures. If an operator is persistently unresponsive, we may pause or remove their listings.

Contract of carriage

Any flight you agree with an operator is a direct contractual relationship between you and that operator. The operator is the contracted air carrier and holds the AOC under which the flight is performed. The operator is responsible for flight-day logistics: meeting time, fixed-base operator (FBO) directions, paperwork, weight and balance. Ledig Air is not the carrier.

Payment

Payment for the flight is arranged and settled directly between you and the operator, by whatever method you agree. Ledig Air does not process payments, does not hold funds, does not issue invoices, and receives no share of the price. We recommend agreeing the price, payment method, and timing in writing with the operator before the flight.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation, change, and refund policies are the operator’s. Because payment runs directly between you and the operator, any refund is owed and paid by the operator. Ledig Air will help mediate in good faith but is not the contracting party and holds no funds. We strongly recommend confirming the operator’s cancellation policy in writing before any time-sensitive arrangements (hotels, ground transport).

Pricing and fees

Ledig Air charges no fees of any kind — no commission, no booking fee, no platform fee, no currency conversion fee, no hidden surcharges. The price shown on a listing is the operator’s own price; any taxes, extras, or adjustments are agreed directly between you and the operator.

Operator obligations

Operators listing on Ledig Air warrant that they hold a valid EASA (or equivalent) Air Operator Certificate, that they are legally permitted to perform the flight under the specified AOC, and that the listed aircraft is airworthy and insured to the levels required by their jurisdiction. Misrepresentation of AOC status is grounds for immediate removal from the platform.

Force majeure

Neither Ledig Air nor the operator is liable for delays or cancellations caused by weather, ATC, security incidents, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. Where a flight is cancelled for force majeure, the operator’s standard rebooking and refund policy applies.

Disputes

If a dispute arises, contact us at hello@ledigair.com. We will mediate in good faith, but payment disputes are between you and the operator, who is the party you paid. Ledig Air is incorporated in Denmark; Danish law governs these terms. The Copenhagen City Court has exclusive jurisdiction unless EU consumer law gives you a stronger right of forum.
